Stacy O'Mara has been a clinician in Central Florida since 2001. She has been established in private practice where she works with individuals, couples, and families. Stacy is well versed in multiple modes of therapy modalities, but has a particular proclivity for Jungian approach. She is a big believer in the unconscious mind and its power to influence behavior. Stacy believes that through examining our deeper motivations, we can understand our current behaviors. In addition, Stacy uses CBT, Positive Psychology and Solution-focused therapies in her work.

I'm currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida. My counseling journey started through my work with college students, which inspired me to pursue a career in mental health. Now, I’ve come full circle — I'm once again supporting students through my clinical work at LIFT.
In my work, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian Theory, which allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. I value helping clients process their past experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and identify personal goals they can actively work toward.
I strive to create a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to explore meaningful change. I believe that growth happens through both self-reflection and intentional action, and I’m committed to walking alongside my clients as they navigate their path toward healing and fulfillment.

I am a graduate student at the University of Central Florida working toward my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I bring a diverse background of experience to my work at LIFT and have supported children, college students, and older adults as they navigate a wide range of challenges. These include life transitions, academic stress, and relational concerns, with an emphasis on fostering self-exploration and emotional well-being.
I take a blended approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and humanistic principles, helping clients build awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and sense of self. I believe every person has the capacity to reach their therapeutic goals—my role is to support you along the way and offer practical strategies that can be applied to everyday life.
I put great care into creating a space that feels relaxed, non-judgmental, and authentic, where you can feel truly seen and heard. By focusing on your strengths, we will build a personalized toolkit to support your growth. My hope is that you leave sessions feeling empowered and confident in your ability to navigate what comes next.

I am currently in training and have clinical experience across residential treatment, outpatient care, and community-based settings. I hold a background in psychology and am completing my graduate training in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida. My clinical foundation is rooted in trauma-informed, relational work and has been shaped by supporting individuals navigating emotional distress, substance use, identity exploration, and systemic stressors.
My approach is informed by both direct clinical practice and prior leadership roles in higher education, nonprofit organizations, and K–12 instruction. In these roles, I facilitated groups, designed support programs, and worked closely with individuals of all ages during periods of transition and growth.
I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that is warm, collaborative, and affirming—one where clients feel safe to show up as their full selves. I value genuine connection and believe meaningful change begins when individuals feel seen, heard, and respected within the context of their lived experiences. My work incorporates multicultural and strengths-based perspectives and honors the ways culture, systems, and identity shape mental health.

I am a graduate student earning my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy at the University of Central Florida. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Human Services, and through my undergraduate training and experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), my passion for the mental health field continued to grow.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe healing happens in safe, supportive spaces where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients as they explore their values, build psychological flexibility, and navigate life’s challenges at a pace that feels right for them.

I am currently a graduate student at the University of Central Florida pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
My approach to counseling is rooted in compassion, honesty, and real connection. I show up as a genuine, nonjudgmental presence—meeting you where you are, not where you think you “should” be.
I believe therapy shouldn’t feel stiff or intimidating. Our sessions focus on honest conversation, practical coping skills, and meaningful self-reflection to help you better understand your emotions and patterns. Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck, angry, disconnected, or uncertain about what comes next, we’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you.
My goal is to help students build emotional awareness, confidence, and resilience—skills that extend far beyond college. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start; you just have to show up. I’ll meet you where you are and support you as you move toward clarity, balance, and growth. 🤍
